As a long-time fan of the Venom series, I can’t help but feel utterly let down by “Venom: The Last Dance.” After the mixed reception of the first two films, I held onto hope that the creators would finally deliver a worthy addition to the franchise. Unfortunately, what we got was a half-hearted attempt that left me more frustrated than entertained.

First off, the plot felt rushed and incoherent. It seemed like they were trying to cram too much into a short runtime, resulting in a jumbled mess that lacked the depth and nuance we expect from a superhero film. Characters that could have had compelling arcs were sidelined or poorly developed, leaving me wondering why I should care about their fates.

Moreover, the chemistry between Eddie Brock and Venom, which was one of the highlights of the previous films, felt forced this time around. The humor, which often provided relief, fell flat. Instead of the witty banter we love, we were met with tired jokes that felt recycled and uninspired.

Visually, while there were some decent action sequences, they didn’t compensate for the overall lack of direction. The special effects, which should have been a standout feature, felt inconsistent and at times, almost cheap. It’s as if they prioritized spectacle over substance, and as a fan, that’s just not enough.

What frustrates me the most is the missed opportunity. The potential for a rich storyline that explores the complexities of Venom’s character and his relationship with Eddie was right there, yet they squandered it. This was supposed to be a “dance,” but it felt more like a chaotic shuffle with no rhythm.

In the end, “Venom: The Last Dance” was a swing and a miss. It’s disappointing to see a character with such potential relegated to mediocre storytelling. I truly hope that future installments will take the time to give fans the story they deserve, rather than just another cash grab. For now, I’m left feeling angry and disillusioned as a fan of Venom.

According to me, this film feel like a buddy comedy wrapped in a superhero story. This film was a fun and exciting ride. it takes the relationship between Eddie Brock and Venom to a whole new level. What I really liked about it was how it explored their strange “friendship.” Eddie is constantly frustrated by Venom, but at the same time, they both need each other. It’s this weird bond that makes the movie stand out from other superhero films.

Tom Hardy once again brings Eddie Brock to life with a perfect mix of humor and stress. He’s constantly trying to keep his life together while Venom causes chaos. The way Eddie and Venom act together is so funny. Venom’s sarcastic comebacks and jokes really bring the laughs in the movie. It’s almost like watching a buddy comedy, but with monsters.

The movie also has lots of action. Venom’s powers are shown in such detail and the CGI has definitely improved. The fight scenes are big, wild and exciting, showcasing Venom’s strength and unpredictable moves. They make you feel like you are in the middle of the chaos, which adds a lot of energy to the film. These scenes are visually intense and really take you into Venom’s world.

Another thing I liked was the mix of humor and darker moments. Venom is hilarious and sassy, always throwing out sarcastic lines, even in intense situations. This makes the movie feel fresh and keeps you entertained, balancing the darker storyline with a lot of laughs. You should watch it !
